Bubble Bath – Relaxing Lavender

Bubble Bath – Relaxing Lavender

This is a great recipe to turn a basic bubble bath into a luxurious bottle of bubbles.

What you need

1.7 pints (1 litre) of Bubble bath
8 drops of Lavender essential oil.
Liquid coloring
dried lavender buds  Optional

Instructions

You can buy your ready made bubble bath from any supermarket store.

If you are going to change the color of your bubble bath then you will need to find a clear bubble bath.

Start by pouring out your store bought bubble bath and placing it into a large clean jug so you can add the ingredients.

Take your bubble bath base and add your essential oil Add the food color at this stage if you wish to change the color.

Add the dried lavender to the bubble bath. You can also add a dried or even plastic lavender sprig (branch) to the bottle you will be pouring the bubble bath into. This will give it a lovely decorative effect.

If you are transferring your bubble bath into a new decorative bottle, then make sure your decorative glass bottle or jar is clean.

Using a steady hand, pour your luxurious bubble bath into the new bottle.

This is a great way to make quick personal gifts.

  2. Guest who spoke about using old bubble bath-
There is a recipe for plain bubble bath here too! This is just how to make it smell like lavender. I really love this recipe. I’m a lavender girl. 🙂

  3. great way to dorate a bathroom inexspensively

  4. This would be okay if you weren’t using any old bubble bath. I would use castille soap!!! It is all natural and comes unscented and only takes a small amount mixed with distilled water to make shower gel etc. Remember to learn about preserving

  5. nice

  6. Never said what to do with the dried lavender…assuming add it to the bubble bath…???

  7. EXCELLENT IDEAL LOVE IT
