Make Your Own Lymphatic Drainage Massage Cream


This homemade lymphatic drainage massage cream sounds fantastic for promoting lymphatic circulation and detoxification!

What you need

Ingredients for Infused Oil
¼ cup ginger
¼ cup calendula
¼ cup yarrow
¼ cup Cleavers tea or 2tbs Cleavers oil
¼ cup burdock root
1 cup carrier oil

Ingredients for Cream
¼ cup infused oil
¼ cup cocoa butter
¼ cup mango butter
¼ cup coconut oil
15-20 drops of essential oils (optional)
4oz container

Instructions

This makes around 4 to 6 ounces

Ingredients for Infused Oil
¼ cup ginger
¼ cup calendula
¼ cup yarrow
¼ cup cleavers
¼ cup burdock root
1 cup carrier oil

Ingredients for Cream
¼ cup infused oil
¼ cup cocoa butter
¼ cup mango butter
¼ cup coconut oil
15-20 drops of essential oils (optional)
4oz container

Instructions
Combine all the herbs into a mason jar.
Pour the carrier oil to cover the herbs completely. Store for a couple of weeks, shaking the jar every few days. Then, strain.
Melt the butters and oils in a double boiler, or slowly in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds.
Leave in the fridge for it to solidify for about 30 minutes to an hour.
Use a hand mixer and mix thoroughly. Add in your essential oils.
Pour into a container and store in a cool, dry place.

To use: Massage over your lymph nodes to help them detox.

Notes:
You can add essential oils if you want. Some good ones for the lymph nodes are geranium, grapefruit, lavender, and ginger.
Ginger root works great for the infused oil, I just ran out and used ginger root powder.
Any carrier oil works, I used avocado oil.
If you are using ginger root, you may want to strain with a coffee filter.
