Knitted Letter Cloth – K

Here is the pattern for letter cloth "K".

What you need

I use size 7 needles and 100% cotton yarn for almost all of my cloths – but you can substitute appropriate needle size and yarn for YOUR project

Instructions

Cast on 35 stitches
1-4: knit across
5: k3, p29, k3
6: and all remaining even numbered rows; knit across
7-8: repeat rows 5 & 6
9, 11, & 13: k3, p5, k8, p3, k8, p5, k3
15: k3, p7, k4, p7, k4, p7, k3
17: k3, p7, k4, p6, k4, p8, k3
19: k3, p7, k4, p5, k4, p9, k3
21: k3, p7, k4, p4, k4, p10, k3
23: k3, p7, k4, p3, k4, p11, k3
25: k3, p7, k4, p2, k4, p12, k3
27: k3, p7, k9, p13, k3
29: k3, p7, k8, p14, k3
31: k3, p7, k9, p13, k3
33: k3, p7, k4, p2, k4, p12, k3
35: k3, p7, k4, p3, k4, p11, k3
37: k3, p7, k4, p4, k4, p10, k3
39: k3, p7, k4, p5, k4, p9, k3
41: k3, p7, k4, p6, k4, p8, k3
43, 45, & 47: k3, p5, k8, p2, k8, p6, k3

  1. I’ve knitting quite alot of the states and letters for afghans for my family. I am working on one now with all the animals,music notes ,flower and many more of the sample patterns.
