Instructions

This tutorial is easy to follow and requires minimal supplies. You will need a wreath form, which can be found at any craft store, and some nautical rope. We recommend using a polypropylene rope  as it is strong, durable, and resistant to water, making it perfect for a beach-inspired decoration. You will also need a hot glue gun and scissors.

To begin, start by adding a line of hot glue to the inside of the wreath form and pressing the nautical rope firmly on top.

We found that laying the wreath form down and then adding the glue and nautical rope was easier and created a better ring on the inside that was straight.

Repeat this process by adding glue to the wreath form and some to the rope where it would overlap to make sure that it adheres well.

Keep this going until you have covered the top and over to the outside edge. It’s important to note that you should only cover the side that will touch the wall and not the backside as it wouldn’t be seen.

When you reach the end of a rope, just start a new one right next to it.

Make sure to keep the rope tight and smooth as you go, you can use your fingers to adjust the rope and make sure it is sitting well on the wreath form.

Once you have completely wrapped the wreath form to your liking, it’s time to add some hot glue to the backside and wrap the nautical rope around 3 times around and then trim at the end adding hot glue to secure it. Repeat this process 3 more times on the wreath to ensure that it is secure.

At the end, you will need to cut a small piece of rope to use as a hanger and adhere it with hot glue on the back side of the wreath. You can hang it on the wall or door with a hook or a nail.

You can also add some other beach-inspired decorations like shells, starfish or small anchors to give it a more personal touch.

This DIY Nautical Buoy Hamptons Beach House Decor is a great way to add some coastal charm to your home without breaking the bank. It’s easy to make and can be customized to suit your personal style. Whether you’re a fan of the Hamptons style or just love the beach, this tutorial is perfect for you.
