Body Butter – Relaxation Sleep Lavender

Apply this wonderfully aromatic body butter to your body every day for a relaxing start to your day.

What you need

2 oz (55g) Shea butter
1 tsp Jojoba oil
1 tsp Apricot oil
1 oz (30g) coconut oil
1/4 tsp of Lavender essential oil
A few drops of Blue food coloring

Instructions

Measure out all your ingredients. Melt your Shea butter in a small pot and mix in to the other liquid ingredients.

Mix all the ingredients together and add your essential oils to the mix.

Once mixed store in an airtight (clean) container and apply liberally to your skin.

  1. Why would you add food coloring to something made with natural ingredients. Will try this and not add the food coloring.

  2. Sounds great! Do you need to add any preservative to this? What is the shelf life?

  3. are you supposed to heat and melt the shea butter and also are you supposed to whip it

  5. I’m guessing that health food stores may have it. It does sound good, and I want to try it, but don’t know any stores like that where I live.
