Cold And Flu Tea Infusers

Cold And Flu Tea Infusers

This tutorial shows you how to make frozen tea infusing ice cubes that can be dropped into hot water or tea to sooth and relieve cold and flu symptoms naturally!

What you need

Ice cube tray
Garlic
Lemon
Water
honey (optional)

Instructions

These ice cubes can be stored in the freezer for the duration of your cold, so you will only need to make one batch up.

Start by taking enough water to fill your ice cube tray. Every tray is different but mine took around 1 cup of water. You can measure this by filling the tray and pouring the water out into a bowl. Then use that water and you should have enough left over for a fresh cup straight away.

Chop 2 cloves of garlic into small pieces and add to water. Add 2 tbs of a good quality honey or Manuka honey.

Add the juice from a whole lemon. You want the mix to be very tart as each ice cube will be diluted by a mug of water (when you use it). If you want more garlic or lemon just add those to suit your tastes.

Fill the ice cube tray back up making sure there is garlic in every cube.

Once frozen, pop one ice cube into a cup of hot black tea or hot water. Take 2-3 times per day for the duration of the cold.

Can’t stand garlic? Substitute it for ginger.
