Desk Pen Caddy

Desk Pen Caddy

Using old bangles, this will be the most colourful stand you ever had!

What you need

Old bangles
Cardboard
Adhesive
Scissor
Pencil

Instructions

Collect some bangles of different colour but of the same size.

Use a bangle to draw a circle on the cardboard and then cut it out.

Now stick one bangle over the other using cardboard as the base of your stand.

Stick the bangles till you get a height of around 5 inches. There is no need to colour or decorate it.

All done!

Comments

  1. i found that if you get a glass jar or bottle that the bangles all fit around, the stacking and sticking goes much easier. if you go over the rim of the jar about 3-5 bangles, you can’t tell there is anything there. it also lasts longer than the cardboard bottom.

  2. I like the idea. It was a very cute idea. Too bad I don’t have any bangles laying around

  3. i don’t like the idea at all. Use something like a washed out tin can and decorate it so it’s your own and you can decorate how you want!

  4. Very nice idea. Too bad I don’t have any extra bangles laying around, else I’d make one of my own! 🙂

  5. Because i am indian, i can make sooooooo many of these!! Awesome way of recycling!

  6. AWESOME!!!!
Some good use for old bangles…. who ve lived to tell the tale… 😀

  7. for those who can’t figure this out you use adhesive to stack the bangles and attach the cardboard

  8. You can easily adapt this idea! love it!

  9. you say it does not look straight? the fact that it is not straight just adds soooo much spunk, character and FLAVOR! this is sooooooo kool!! 😉

  10. CraftBits (Shellie Wilson) says

It is not straight because the bangles are different widths and styles.

  11. the picture shows it as not being straight..

  12. Now I know what to do with all my bangles . very clever ..ty

  13. One comment here says “so you just stack them ” it does actually say stick, and adhesive is in the list of requirements to make this 😉 have another look, poster.

  14. So… you just stack them? No glue or anything? Seems like a mess waiting to happen without an adhesive… Otherwise, I really like it.

  15. This is a VERY CUTE idea!
