Bath Bomb – Indian Chai

A variation on the basic bath bomb. Make this fragrant bath bomb with spicy aromas.

1/2 cup of Citric acid
2 tsp of Almond Oil or Apricot kernel oil
1/2 tbs of Water
1/8 cup of Milk powder
1/4 tsp of Cinnamon, cardamom & clove powdered spices
10-15 drops of Vanilla fragrance oil

Instructions

Combine the dry ingredients in bowl and stir until well mixed.

Next drizzle in the oil and stir until mixture is moistened. Add more oil and fragrance and stir until well mixed. If mixture is crumbly then add more oil or a dash of water.

Roll the mixture into a ball using your hands or press it into a lightly oiled mold, such as a Bath Bomb mold or a chocolate mold.

Let it slip out from the mold. Put the ball/shape on a sheet of wax paper and leave it to dry till it is hard. It make take several days.

Store them in a airtight container. Use 1 bath bomb per bath.

When we make our own DIY Bath Bombs we use and highly recommend this bath bomb mold for making single bath bombs or if you are making multiple bath bombs you may want to check out these silicon multi bath bomb molds and even a bath bomb press if you intend on making hundreds of Bath bombs for selling or gifts.

  2. I made this one once but with a twist, I replaced the spices with an equal amount of pumpkin pie spice, then tinted it orange. Pumpkin Pie Ala Mode Bombs!
