Brunette’s Rosemary Hot Oil

Rosemary enhances the depth of darkness to your brunette hair by leaving it shiny and nourished.

Brunette’s Rosemary Hot Oil

What you need

1/2 cup of rosemary leaves
or 1 tsp of rosemary essential oil
1/2 cup of olive oil

Instructions

Blend the ingredients together and warm in the microwave for a few minutes.

If you are using rosemary leaves you will need to strain them out of the oil.

(Don’t apply oil that is TOO hot to touch to your hair or it will burn the strands)

Apply it to the hair starting from the ends to the roots.

Wrap you hair in a warm towel or in a shower cap for 20 minutes.

Allow it to absorb into the hair before washing out with shampoo.

  1. Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!!!! this is a great treatment for your hair — i wouldnt really say that it darkened my hair but it is deffinatly in much better shape. softer and shinier. For those of you who have thick hair — wash well — i mean like 3 times in a row , unless you wanna walk around looking like you havent washed your hair in a month. lol

  2. question – when it says blend…does it mean stir or put in a blender?

  3. love it! just remember that when you are heating the oil and rosemary to add the ess. oil at the end after heating. ess. oils are heat sensitive.
makes your hair shiny and smells great!

  4. actually my aunt showed me this a long time ago, the first time I used it, my hair was really soft, but i didn’t use the rosemerry esential oil. I recomend this for ALL hair types! Not just brunnets.

  5. I do like this a lot. Great for a brunette boomer going gray, like me!

And it doesn’t hurt a thing that it’s so simple to concoct, either.
