Dressed Bunny Crochet Pattern

A very cute and adorable bunny that you can crochet in less than 2 hours. It has a dress component as well.

What you need

Worsted weight yarn in white and violet or color of your choice
Pom-Poms (one pink and 2 larger white)
2 wiggly eyes
Ribbon
Flowers
Size “I” Hook

Instructions

Note: Join each rnd

BODY

Rnd 1: With white Ch 2 and 8 sc in first ch. (8 sc)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same place and 2 sc in each sc around (16 sc)

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same place and (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc) around (24 sc)

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same place and 1 sc in next sc, (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 2 sc) around (32 sc)

Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in same place and 1 sc in next 2 sc, (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc) around (40 sc)

Rnds 6 – 12: Sc in each sc (40 sc) Rnd 13: Ch 1, sc in same place and (1 sc in next 3 sc, dec over next 2 sc) around (32 sc).

Finish off.

Rnd 14: Join violet. Sc in each sc in back loop (32 sc)

Rnd 15-16-17: Sc in each sc (32 sc)

Rnd 18: Ch 1, sc in same place and 1 sc in next (dec over next 2 sc. sc in next 2 sc) around (24 sc)

Rnd 19-20: Sc in each sc around

Rnd 21: Ch 1, sc in same (dec over next 2 sc, sc in next sc) around (16 sc)

Rnd 22: Ch 1, dec over next 2 sc around (8 sc) Finish off.

Now you should understand the increasing and decreasing technique so I won’t keep repeating, instead I will continue as follows:

Rnd 23: Join white and increase to 16 sc.

Rnd 24: Increase to 24 sc. Rnd 25: Increase to 32 sc

Rnds 26-27-28-29-30-31: SC in each sc Stuff at this point

Rnd 32: Decrease to 24 sc.

Rnd 33: Decrease to 16 sc.

Rnd 34: Decrease to 8 sc. Finish off leaving length to gather to close. Finish stuffing and close end.

ARMS (Make 2)

Rnd 1: With white, Ch 2, 8 sc in first sc. (8 sc)

Rnd 2: Increase to 16

Rnd 3-4-5-6: Sc in ea sc (16 sc)

Rnd 7-14: Dec 1 sc in each round ending with 8 sc in last round. Finish off.

Rnd 15: Join violet and 2 sc in each sc (16 sc)

Rnd 16: Increase to 24 sc

Rnd 17: Increase to 32 sc

Rnd 18-19-20: Sc in each sc. Stuff arm but stuff upper part (sleeve) lightly. Gather to close. Attach to body.

LEGS (make 2)

Rnd 1: With white chain 2 and 6 sc in first sc. (6 sc)

Rnd 2: Increase to 12 sc

Rnd 3: Increase to 18 sc

Rnds 4-10: Sc in each sc (18 sc)

Rnd 11 – 21: Decrease 1 sc in each rnd ending with 12 sc in last round.

Rnd 22: sc in each sc (12 sc) Stuff and sew to body.

EARS (make 2)

Rnd 1: With white chain 2 and 8 sc in first sc. (8 sc)

Rnd 2: Increase to 16 sc.

Rnd 3-4-5: Sc in each sc around

Rnd 6-15: Dec 1 sc in each rnd ending with 6 sc in last round. Do not stuff. Attach to head.

SKIRT

Attach violet in free loop of Rnd 14.

Rnd 1: Ch 4, dc in same place, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next loop) around. Join

Rnd 2: Sl st to first ch 1 space (d dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next loop) around. Join

Rnds 3-4: Repeat Rnd 2, Finish off. Add pom-poms and eyes as shown.

HAT

Rnd 1: With violet ch 2, 6 sc in first sc. (6 sc)

Rnd 2: Increase to 12 sc

Rnd 3: Increase to 18 sc

Rnds 4-5-6: Sc in each sc (18 sc)

Rnd 7: Ch 4, trc in same place, 2 trc in each sc around. Join

Rnd 8: Reverse sc in ea sc around. Join and finish off.

Decorate with ribbon and flowers. Attach to head.

Tie ribbon around waist or proceed as follows: Chain 40, surface crochet between skirt and body, starting at center front, all around and chain 40 again. Tie in bow.

    the pattern was easy to follow, and turned out very pretty, i didnt like the picture because i couldnt see the details. I emboridered the eyes and nose instead of using pompoms. I will defently use this pattern again! turned out so cute! Thanks!!
