Instructions

This baby shower wreath or announcement wreath is so easy to make, you do not need expert skills to be able to make this wreath. You will need a 12 ” Wreath  and 3 baby blankets from the Dollartree or similar store.

You will also need a small Toy to hang in the middle and any other trinkets you would like to include.

Begin by cutting  7″ long and 1-1/2 inch wide strips of your baby blanket. Be sure to use a fleece as this does not fray and no sewing is required.

Once you have your strip you tie them around the wreath by creating a slip knot tie. With the end tuffs sticking out as shown in the picture above. Keep doing this until you are all the way around your wreath.  There is no need to secure these knots with glue they will stay tight enough.

Now is the fun part, decorating your basic wreath.

This one has been finished off with a soft toy and some baby blocks, but you can use whatever you have on hand. If you keep it within the color scheme of the blanket it will help create a nice design.
