This kids craft project shows you how to make Hand print Halloween spiders for art projects, Halloween decorations or cards.
What you need
Black acrylic paint
Cardstock or paper
Orange cardstock (optional)
Googly eyes or white paint
Decorative scissors (optional)
For this Halloween kids craft project we made a single piece of artwork, you could use this tutorial to create Halloween decorations such as porch flags (on fabric or plastic table cloths) Or a bunting.
Start by creating your bottom base with orange cardstock. Then glue the white piece on top allowing for a 1.4 inch border. We used pinking shears or decorative scissors to add a little something extra to our design.
Paint the hand black and then press down onto the paper, for kids in a large setting we suggest having a practice go first before adding it to the main picture. Alternatively you can use several pieces and ask the child to pick their favorite and then create the orange frame behind it.
Use white paint to glue on the spiders eyes or glue on wobble googly eyes. Add some extra lines for a fake web. You can also use a paper doily in the background for a web look too.
Such a fun Halloween project that can be created with minimum expense.
Add these to paper bags for DIY Quick Candy trick or treat bags.
