What you need
- Small amounts of yarn in your choice of colors (examples: orange/black, red/white, green/black)
- Crochet hook: 3.5 mm or 3.75 mm
- Polyfil stuffing or yarn scraps for filling
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
Tip: If you prefer your candy to look plumper, try using a thicker yarn like DK or worsted weight. This will give your piece more body.
Instructions
Each candy is made in two simple parts: the rounded center (which is stuffed) and the decorative twisted ends that look just like the wrapper. They’re quick enough that you can easily make a handful in one sitting, and they’re a fantastic way to use up leftover yarn.
Change the colors to suit your theme—orange and black for Halloween, red and white for Christmas, or even pastels for birthday party favors.

Candy Wrapper Ends
At both ends of the candy, work into the FLO of Round 1 and Round 9. Repeat the following around each end (6 times total per side):
(Ch 2, Dc, Ch 3, Psc, Dc)
This creates the frilly, twisted edges that mimic a candy wrapper.
And there you have it—a bowl of crochet candy ready to add to your Halloween table, gift baskets, or even as a whimsical garland.
