Cement Cone Paper Weight

This tutorial shows you how to make a set of paper weights using cement and paper snow cones.

What you need

cement
paper cones (snow cones)

Instructions

Start by mixing your cement following the instructions on the packet but hold back a little of the water as you need this mix to be firm and not pourable.

I used paper snow cones and filled each one to different depths.

Once set, I ripped away the paper cones to reveal the textured cones. You can smooth down any rough edges using fine sandpaper and a little water.

It’s a fun afternoon activity which is tactile in nature and can be fun for kids and therapy.
