Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Paint the Head Beads

  • Paint each head bead in your chosen skin tone.

  • Add hair in shades of brown, black, blonde, or even a playful pink!

  • Paint on facial details—closed eyes with lashes, a smile, and rosy cheeks.

Step 2: Paint the Body Beads

Choose from these Valentine designs:

  1. Heart Motif – Paint the bead red or pink, then add small white hearts all over.

  2. Stripes – Alternate pink and white stripes for a candy-cane style.

  3. Polka Dots – White polka dots on a red bead or gold dots for extra sparkle.

Step 3: Paint the Hat Beads

  • Keep these solid in pink or red.

  • Optional: paint a tiny heart or add a glitter stripe.

Step 4: Assemble the Keychain

  • Cut a 30–35 cm cord and fold in half.

  • Loop through the keyring and thread on the beads: hat, head, body.

  • Tie a knot under the body bead to hold them in place.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

  • Trim the cord ends to your preferred length.

  • Seal the paint with a clear varnish.

Design Ideas

  • Pastel Romance – Soft pinks, creams, and light grey for a vintage look.

  • Bold Love – Bright reds and hot pinks with gold hearts.

  • Couples Set – Make two matching dolls for you and your Valentine.
