does anyone ever read and answer questions posed in these comments? I also would like to know what the word ‘afend’ refers to!
I think it is a misprint – it should read at end – then the instruction makes sense! Great pattern though.
Hello, I just love your pattern. I an using antique hankerchiefs and this is a perfect pattern. I have searched forever for this I fo have 2 questions. First of all I am needle tatting. I just could not get the FLIP down so the needle works out great. 1. On first line of directions you say to join to last picot made. How, if you havent made a ring yet? 2. At the end you have the word afend where it says * 3 times more ommitting last r. afend of last. . . I dont understand? What is afend.
look forward to getting started. Cant wait to hear from you.
Yours in tatting,
JoAnn
