Lip Balm – Coconut

Lip Balm – Coconut

This is a lip balm recipe with the flavors of coconut.

What you need

2 tbs of beeswax
1 tbs of coconut oil
optional – 5 drops of coconut essence or flavoring.

Instructions

Melt the beeswax and coconut oil down using a double boiler method stir in any extra scents or color.

While hot pour into a suitable container allow it to set and it’s ready for application.

Old lip balm, lipsticks or even eyeshadow containers are great for lip balm pots.

If you wish to dye this balm you can use a cosmetic coloring available from homemade body product supply stores. You can also use a small amount of store bought lipstick to tint the balm.

Coconut oil is very good for the skin. If you don’t like the taste of coconut just leave out the essence or flavoring.

  2. i love to make lip balm thiz will probally be the best one homemade

  3. Judging by the amount of beeswax you use you will get about 1 tube. You can probably get the beeswax at a health food store along with the coconut oil. Instead of using a double boiler you can place a large glass bowl over a pot of water while it is boiling.
