Wreath – Valentine’s Day Rustic Love

This Valentine's day tutorial shows you how to make a wreath using rustic materials.

What you need

Wicker or cane Craft heart
3 yards of brown string or twine
Strong cardboard

Instructions

For this tutorial you will need to cut out your heart shape centre from the cardboard. We used a grey recycled board from a box but you could use card stock, printed card or even painted wooden heart.

Rustic heart wreath forms can be found in craft supply stores or even online.

We started by tying the heart into place as shown.

Then we wrapped the string around the heart to give it a tangled or entwined look for Valentine’s day.
