Welcome to our Dollar Tree Easter Egg Moss Wreath tutorial, where we’ll guide you through transforming simple Dollar Tree supplies into a stunning Easter décor piece! With just a grapevine wreath, moss, colorful Easter eggs, and a few crafting essentials, you’ll create a delightful wreath to brighten up your home for the holiday season. Let’s dive in and get crafting!

Begin by covering nearly the entire grapevine wreath with moss, ensuring thorough coverage. Leave a portion at the top uncovered as you prepare to attach a bow.

To apply the moss, work in sections. Apply hot glue to the grapevine, then carefully place the moss on top, ensuring it adheres securely. Some moss may come loose when lifted, but you can reattach it with hot glue or tuck it between the grapevines. Patience is key during this process. If you encounter stringy hot glue, take your time to remove any excess to prevent it from tangling with the moss.

Once the wreath is covered, start adding your eggs with hot glue. I applied the eggs randomly around the wreath, being mindful not to place similar colors next to each other for a varied appearance.

Following that, I crafted a bow using a wired burlap ribbon, which is notably easier to manipulate. I formed several loops and fastened them together using a zip tie. Then, I cut an additional piece of burlap ribbon to create tails and to conceal the zip tie by wrapping it over. To secure the burlap ribbon in place, I applied a small amount of hot glue at the center of the bow. Finally, I trimmed the tails to my preferred length.

To add the easter egg sign, remove the piece of jute on the top (don’t throw it away you will reuse this). I pushed the bottom section of the sign into some of the grapevines, and it held it, I added some hot glue to secure it.

Take the jute piece and pull it through one of the holes on the sign and then through a piece of the grapevine and then back through the other hole. Add hot glue to where the sign meets the wreath to secure it in place.
