What you need
Paper
small elastic bands we used clear loom bands
Brown marker pen
inspirational quotes
scissors
large jar
Instructions
Start by taking the paper and cutting it into cigarette widths. We used A4 paper and cut it in half length ways and then each strip into 3 to get 6 rolls per page.
We wrote our quotes onto the pieces of paper, Our jar was for Grandma so the kids did some drawings for her and some jokes etc.
Roll each one up and close with the band.
I found it easier to roll the paper over a thin pencil to get a nice rounded shape.
Finish it off by coloring the tip brown, or white depending on a familiar brand to the smoker.
We used a large coffee jar to stash ours in.
I think its totally crazy to do something so ironic. I quit smoking 54 days ago, and I still crave a cigarette everyday and I would not for a minute want anything like this around me. Sorry but i think this must have been thought of by a non-smoker 🙂 not someone that has smoked there entire life and trying to quit, and change there life. People cigarettes are very addicting, and very controlling to your life…it’s a drug and for someone that is trying to come off of drugs, don’t put it in front of them to remind them every minute, instead try to take there mind off of them, by helping them change there habits and with lots and lots of encouragement daily.
This cigarette looking & feeling like would totally turn my husband off. He is struggling with how to quit as it is. I think putting things like gum, candy, pretzels or something to replace the urge to put a cigarette in his mouth would work better. Lollipops are great!
As someone who is quitting smoking, I find this irritating. It will in no way make it easier for me to quit by picking up something that looks like a cigarette. It must be a non-smokers idea.
I LOVEEEEEE IT !!!!!!
can’t figure out how this will help you not to smoke? You’re just putting notes into a jar? or is there is some kind of game to go along with it? Thanks
