What you need
2 tablespoons fuller earth clay
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon buttermilk
Instructions
Mix all ingredients into a a paste and microwave on low power for 90 seconds to blend it further.
Let cool before you use it.
Then apply to the skin in light upwards strokes. (never ever make your strokes from the inside of your face to the outside of your face. This is “stretching” the skin. This causes wrinkles!)
Sit back with your feet up for 20 minutes; rinse with the skin bleaching tonic recipe.
I think this is supposed to be for sun spots and PIH, not for making a darker person whiter.
ohmigosh! Does anyone else remember the Brady Bunch episode where Jan does this to get rid of her freckles?!
Ah, a simpler time. Before there were “so many problems in this world” and you could say something without some knee-jerk reaction that’s nothing more than a mis-interpretation.
Y’all need to get lives and stop complaining. If you disagree with the craft idea, don’t do it!
I can’t believe someone would be so ignorant to believe this was to lighten your skin rather then just age spots or freckles, kinda funny and disturbing at the same time.
‘Apalled’? I think you meant ‘appalled’, by the way. Why turn this into a matter of racism when it’s not? I’m 15 and I know better.
Oh please, it’s to fade freckles, skin blemishes, and tan lines. Not to turn people white. Don’t be so ignorant. I’m 16 and I knew better.
Ehh, some people are so ignorant. I didn’t think anything racial when I found this, I thought, this will help fade my tan lines. You just had to make this a racial issue. yes some people with dark skin want to lighten it, I don’t about you but I would encourage people to use this, instead of the harmful and dangerous products sold all around the world. If people want to bleach thee skin, they are going to do it regardless of what you think why not give them a natural way to do it.
I don’t see anything wrong with this craft idea. People change the color of their hair all of the time. I don’t see how *lightening* your skin is any different. And by the way, this doesn’t BLEACH skin to a very pale color, it simply gently lightens your existing tone. Geez…
I am apalled by this craft idea. With all the problems going on in our world right now, is it really a good idea to be encouraging people to change the colour of their skin? For those who already feel uncomfortable with their skin colour, this recipe is only going to fuel their paranoia. Not good or nice.
