How To Chalk Paint Mason Jars

This tutorial shows you how to upcycle mason jars into a seasonal decoration or use different colors for year-round decorations using chalk paint.

What you need

Waverly off white and red chalk paint

Paint Brushes

Metallic Gold Acrylic Paint

Raffia

3 large 16 ounce mason jars

Instructions

Paint 2 mason jars with 3 coats of the waverly off white chalk paint

Paint 1 mason jar with 3 coats of the red chalk paint

Once the 2 off white mason jars are completely dry, paint one of them with 2 coats of metallic paint

Once completely dry add the raffia round the top to the amount you desire and tie in a bow
