Flower Pillow

This sewing pattern shows you how to make a cute flower pillow that is 17 inches in size.

What you need

Felt or Polar Fleece Material
Toy Wadding/Filling
Embroidery thread
Needle and thread
Scissors

Use this pattern:

Cut 2 circles 12″ (30.5 cm) diameter.

Cut 2 Circles 5 1/2″ (14 cm) diameter.

Cut 30 petals using template 1.

Cut 2 white circles 1 1/2″ (3.5 cm) diameter

Cut 3 small circles, 2 brown 1 red and a piece of red felt for the mouth.

Take 2 petal shapes and sew them together and turn right side out. Do this for all 15 complete petals.

Place them inwards on one of the 12″ circles.(see the pattern picture).

Now sew the 2nd circle on top. Remember your petals should be facing inwards as you will turn this flower right side out when finished.

Leave a small hole at the top for filling with wadding.

Sew the 5 1/2″ circle on top for the face.

Sew the eyes and nose into place using embroidery thread and a blanket stitch effect.

Finish off by sewing the mouth on. Fill with wadding and then close the opening with small stitches.
