Instructions
This Thanksgiving fall tutorial shows you how to take a Dollar tree splatter screen or splatter guard to create a Fall Decoration using low-cost Fall supplies from discount stores.
Start by painting your screens with spray paint and allowing them to dry. Rustic fall colors like brown, orange work well for this design.
If you are using it as a door wreath then you would cut or unscrew these handles so that your Halloween splatter screen wreath will sit flat against your door.
Lay them out and glue into place. Finish off by adding flowers and decorations to the base. Don’t forget to wrap the top handle with ribbon or rope.
In this design you can see the edges have been embellished with rope, you can use ribbon or cord if you like. Using Thanksgiving or fall supplies finish off the bottom with a design as shown using the items you have on hand.
This piece was finished off with a lovely big bow at the top.
