This spring wreath is made using items from the Dollar Tree or Dollar Store. For the base, you will need a foam wreath form. You can use wire or metal form but you will need to secure your flowers with glue if you do so. We recommend E600 Glue for wreaths as they withstand heat and the weather.
For this wreath, the stems of the flowers were cut shorten and then pressed into the foam form. You can also use a pool noodle wreath base.
The flowers were purchased in bundles of 10 and the colours were repeated a shown in the photo. The plastic butterflies were added to the top and secured with glue. Little pieces of plastic baby’s breath were scattered around in any gaps.
The key to replicating this wreath is bunching the colors together. The images for this tutorial was contributed by Stephanie L. Thanks for sharing your lovely spring design Stephanie.
How many flowers did you use for the sample wreath and what size wreath did you use. I’m thinking of offering this as a fund raising class at my local library and will need to purchase enough for at least 10 people. Thanks!
