4 x 1.2 Oz (50 g) balls
Size K/10.5 US or 6.5 mm Crochet hook
Instructions
Approx 80×7 ins (203x18cms).
Gauge = 11 single crochet (sc) and 12 rows = 4 ins (10 cm).
Abbreviations: ch = chain; RS = right side; AS = wrong side; sc = single crochet.
Beginning at side edge, ch 27.
Row 1 (RS): 1 sc in 6th ch from hook *ch 5. Skip 3 chs. 1 sc into next ch; Rep from * to end of row, turn.
Row 2: *Ch 5. 1 sc into next 5 ch arch; Rep from * to end of row, turn.
Rep Row 2 until work from beginning measures 80 ins (203 cm).
Fasten off.
Fringe:
Cut 2 lengths of yarn 11 ins (28cm). Fold the lengths in half.
Perform steps 4 to 10 on page 136 to make a section of fringe at the corner of the scarf.
Add 1 section of fringe to each arch.

Where do you find page 136 to finish steps 4-10?
Looks easy enough for me to have my beginner class do it, but it doesn’t appear to be for warmth. What type of yarn are you using? The arch is the chain 5 space.
i love the idea, but, the directions are really hard to understand.
