What you need
Child’s Printed Vest Sewing Machine or optional Glue
Instructions
For a small tote use a child’s vest but if you want a larger tote use an adults printed vest.
Start by turning the vest inside out.
Fold the vest flat with the sides sitting in the middle, this will allow your handles to sit straight when carrying the tote.
Sew along the bottom of the vest to close up the bag. Use a zig zag or double thread stitch for added strength.
Turn the vest inside out and your DONE !!
Can’t Sew??
If you cant sew or don’t have access to a sewing machine than the only alternative is GLUE!!
Craft glue or hot melt glue are all suitable options but if your a guy and dread the idea of going into a craft store then use some super glue from the garden shed.
I made one for my son out of his fave dinosaur shirt that he has grown out of. He loves the fact that he still has his fave shirt. Also made one for my daughter from her fave shirt. So easy!
I love this!! Sew 🙂 simple!!!
it’s great! And you can also do it with other designs!
