Project Notes
This bookmark measures approx. 7–8″ long using size 10 crochet cotton.
Try experimenting with different thread colors — metallics look stunning for a holiday gift version!
Stiffer threads will keep the bookmark crisp, while softer cottons give a more organic, vintage look.
There’s something timeless about slipping a handmade bookmark between the pages of a favorite book. Fern’s Bookmark is a wonderful way to combine your love of crochet with your love of reading (or gifting to a fellow bookworm). Make a few in different shades, keep one in your current read, and pass a couple along to friends — they’re small but incredibly thoughtful.
Happy stitching, and may your reading time always come with a little handmade charm.
