Comments

  1. Its amaizing and very easy to understand

  2. Can anyone tell me how many square the blanket ends up having?

  3. I’m definitely going to try this. I love it. Will use different colors and if I get it right, may even try to make a larger one…Thanks for post n comments!

  4. I love the idea that you can make this throw without having to sew squares together. However, I just can justify how to bring the yarn with me as I proceed. Do you have to have a separate ball for each color as you go along? And how many squares of color from right to left and top to bottom? I’ve decided to do something in the same color pattern but with stripes. I’ve been crocheting for years and this is the first time I’ve seen a quilt with squares that you didn’t have to sew together and for the life of me, I can’t figure it out. But THANK YOU for a beautiful project.

It isn’t very clear how you carry the yarn behind to continue the chain etc. ….Easy? not! I am going to make squares and join them after. Also there are 3 colors but the instructions only show color A and B.

  6. Buen día. ¿Sería posible poner el gráfico?
    Un saludo.

  7. Thank you so much for whomever posted this pattern. I have been looking for it forever.

  8. Love it wouldn’t 8th be easier to make the individual squares then connect them ? Just curious n the links on here will explain the lingo for crochet beginners or the ones like me who just do it bye eye lol.

  9. Sandy Shipp says

FYI, I contacted Vickie Howell via Facebook and she informed me that this is NOT her pattern. I am in the process of making this blanket, but I had to modify the pattern by making each square individually.

    • Hello Sandy, I’m going to do the same as you. How many stitches and rows did you make for each square? And how many squares for each colour?
      Ellie

  10. It’s lovely!

  11. Very nice…I would make one of those

  12. Sandy Shipp says

I am having trouble getting started with the foundation chain. I cannot figure out how to join the colors in a foundation chain. Please help.

Like Stacey and Susan, I am also new to crocheting. Can you please explain the”language” or a link where we could get the information? The blanket is beautiful and I would really love to attempt it.

  16. I’m new to this, is this just a normal single crochet?

  17. Susan Lennox says

    Hi
I’m new to crochet, can you explain what “sc and sp” stitches are?
    Thank you
    Susan
