What you need
1/2 cup of Coconut oil
Hot towel
Instructions
Take the oil and apply it liberally to your hair.
Heat your towel in a dryer or use a towel that has been soaked in hot water and wrap it around your head.
Allow the oil to soak in for 20-30 minutes. If your towel cools down too much, use a hair dryer to add a little heat.
Shampoo oil out and rinse thoroughly.

Really great for curly hair. I have been using coconut oil on my face and hair for almost 2 years now and it really makes a difference. I use just a tiny bit rubbed between my hands until it melts and apply it mostly to the ends of my hair after getting out of the shower and before my leave in conditioner. Really helps keep frizz at bay because your hair is not as dehydrated and so not looking for more moisture from the environment. Would give this 10 stars if I could.
Olive oil is be an ok substitute, but for the full benefits use coconut oil. I had frizzy blonde curls and now they look so much better, it really brings out your natural curl. Plus i discovered that i really only need to wash my hair once or twice a week.
THIS IS LIKE AGE OLD INDIAN TREATMENT.THANKYOU FOR REMINDING WHAT MY GRANDMOTHER DID WHICH I FORGOT FOR A WHILE
Looks easy and fun. 🙂 But is there a good substitute for coconut oil?
Hi I’m from Philippine I also tried this because i do have hair fall. I hope this treatment will effect with my scalp. A friend of mine told me to do this scalp treatment for a month with minimal shampooing of hair maybe twice a week. 🙂
You should also try this.

Well I was goingto start off I am from India, but people already used that so
I am also from India and coconut is almost always used. But., what my family does is go out and buy a jar of solidified coconut oil and scoop a little out with your finger and rub it in your hands until it is melted and rub your hands through your hair and leave it in. I do this daily and wash two or three times a week and it makes your hair really soft and shiny
I usually use olive oil for this but I don’t really like the smell. I think I’ll try this. I love the smell of coconuts! =)
i am from philippines and my hair is damage because i always go in the sun and i color and relax it before and i apply coconut oil in my hair and it was amazing my hair is softer and it is not damage now ive been using this coconut oil for 2 years now
You can make pure coconut oil from the juice of coconut. Squeeze grated coconut to get juice and warm it up in a utensil until oil separates from the residue. You will get pure coconut oil.
I am from the Philippines and this is a process well used there. This one is great and really works. It makes your hair shiny! use shampoo to get out. keep the oil in overnight for extra shine and it REALLY works. takes away frizz!!!!!
I think this is effective but i’m not sure about the smell after the treatment, will it make my hair smell like coconut oil after? Can this make my hair stronger and have less frizzes? My hair seems to break easily and I have lots of frizzes too. annoying
I am from India too and know that this idea really works. This is tried and tested.U can also mix a lil of almond oil and then apply.
I am from India & we have been using coconut oil in our hair for ages. Try warming the oil a little, apply at night & wash next morning. Doing this twice a week will over a period of time get rid of dandruff.
Thanks, it works wonderful!
that sounds so easy! i’ll try it right now!! wait.. i don’t have any coconut oil. well i’ll try it if i ever get some. Thanks for the idea!
