This tutorial shows you how to turn a Halloween pumpkin into a Thanksgiving turkey decoration. Whilst this Thanksgiving project is aimed at kids they will need a little help to make the slots for the wooden tail feathers of the Thanksgiving turkey.
Begin by painting up the wooden spoons, you will need 6 in total. You can paint them colorful or plain brown the choice is yours.
Once they are dried you can add the eye to the head and with some cardstock for the snood. Or use some red felt.
Using a knife or dill make a slot in the pumpkin for the feathers. I prefer to use a drill, but it will depend what you have on hand. You could use a screwdriver and hammer too but be careful.
