Mr Blobby Toy

This knitting project shows you how to make an adorable knitted plushie called Mr Blobby.

What you need

12 ply wool
Size 8 (5 mm) needles
Toy Filling/Wadding
2 x 1.5 inch wobble google eyes

Instructions

Cast on 40 sts

st-st 70 Rows
Cast Off

Legs (Make 2)
Cast on 25sts
Garter st 30 Rows
Cast off

Arms (Make 2)
Cast on 18sts
Garter st 15 Rows
Cast off

Legs
Sew side seams together and sew across the bottom and fill with Toy Filling or Wadding

Arms
Sew side seams together and and sew across the bottom and fill with toy filling/wadding.

Body
Fold body in half and sew arms into place whilst sewing the side edges together.

Sew Legs into place while sewing cast on and cast off edges together filling as you go.

Nose
Cast on 8sts
K 1 Row
Inc K wise into every st. 16sts
K 1 Row
Inc K wise into every st. 32sts
K 1 Row
K2 tog to the end. 16sts
K1 Row
K2 tog to the end. 8sts
K1 Row

Break off Yarn and thread through remaining sts, draw up tightly.

Thread yarn through cast on sts

Fill nose with filling/wadding and draw up tightly. Fasten off.

Sew into place. Glue eyes into place.
