2 bunches of eucalyptus

Instructions
Prepare the Trees:
Start by taking each Dollar Tree green tree and carefully removing the bottom plastic piece. This will provide a clean and uniform base for your wreath.
Ensure that the trees are free of any excess plastic to create a polished appearance.
Arrange the Trees:
Lay the six trees on a flat surface, positioning them so that the metal sections, which are not covered, are placed together. This arrangement ensures that the trees are opposite each other, creating a fuller and balanced wreath.
Secure with Zip Ties:
If you have zip ties available, use two of them to secure the trees together at their metal sections. Wrap the zip ties around the trees snugly to form a cohesive unit. In the absence of zip ties, you can utilize the string that is typically found at the bottom of the trees to tie them together securely.
Repeat for All Trees:
Repeat the above steps for the remaining five trees, creating a total of six secured tree bundles. This forms the foundation of your wreath and ensures stability.
Create the Star Shape:
Lay the tree bundles across each other to form the desired star shape. One method is to arrange them in an ‘x’ shape and then place the last two trees across the top. This arrangement contributes to the distinct star design.
Secure the Star:
Utilize zip ties to firmly secure the tree bundles in place. Wrap the ties around the intersecting points of the trees to ensure the star shape is well-defined and structurally sound.
Attach the Bow:
Take the ribbon from Dollar Tree and fashion a bow. Secure the bow in the middle of the star shape using either the twist tie provided or, for added stability, use an additional zip tie.
This central bow not only adds a decorative touch but also serves as a focal point for your wreath.
Prepare Decorative Elements:
With wire cutters, clip sections of eucalyptus and pine cones. For the red berries, gently pull them off the wires they come on. This step is crucial for creating personalized embellishments for your wreath.
Adhere Decorations:
Using a hot glue gun, apply generous amounts of hot glue to the eucalyptus, pine cones, and red berries. Press them firmly onto the tree branches, distributing them evenly across the wreath.
This not only adds visual interest but also enhances the festive appeal of your Dollar Tree Star Tree Wreath.
By following these detailed steps, you’ll craft a delightful and budget-friendly holiday decoration that will surely impress your guests and add a festive flair to your home.
I made one of these last year. Its quite large so I hung it on the outside of our house. I got led string lights from Amazon that have a built in timer & different speeds, patters etc. I got a lot of compliments from the neighbors.
This decoration looks great. Simple instructions to follow and inexpensive parts to put together. I will make a couple of these for gifts. Love it.
