DIY Patriotic Party Coasters

The days are finally warmer, and picnics and barbecues are in full swing! These DIY Patriotic Party Coasters made with VELCRO® Brand Patriotic Décor Wraps in red, white, and blue are versatile, reusable, and sure to add a pop of color to your 4th of July party décor!

What you need

VELCRO® Brand Patriotic Décor Wraps in red, white, and blue
White craft rope (piping)
1 sheet of red felt
1 sheet of blue felt
Scissors
Glue gun with glue

Instructions

Supplies needed:

Cut VELCRO® Brand Patriotic Décor Wraps into 6  inch strips and weave each strip into the pattern.

Start with a few vertical strips in blue, then weave one red strip over and under each blue strip one at a time.

 

Cut a round circle out of felt, and place it on the back of  your pattern. It will stick right away, and allow you to cut away the excess pattern.

Use your glue gun to add glue around the coaster and add the rope piping.

Finally, have fun using your new party coasters!
