Candle Holder – Industrial Copper Hardware

Industrial looks are trending right now and rather than pay for an overpriced candle holder why not make your own? Use plumbing or industrial hardware to create amazing table centrepieces. This DIY Candle making tutorial shows you how to make your own Candle Decor.

What you need

Plumbing Hardware
We choose brass T Ends and nuts and bolts
Tapered Candles
Heat source

Instructions

For this tutorial you could use store bought candles or you could just make your own tapered candles.

You will need to take your candles with you to the hardware store to find a fitting that suits your candle width and size. I just headed into the plumbing section as I wanted something brass or copper as I wanted to use the extra wide copper nuts.

For my project, I used a spare candle and melted it down. I then used the wax to fill in the base of the candle holder.

Finally, I placed the nut on some greaseproof or freezer paper and then poured the melted wax into it.

The candle was then pushed into place.
