Click on each link above to print the line drawing (Your browser will display the full-size pattern. Print the pattern, then use your BACK button to return to this page.)

BEGIN:

Most printers cut the hat off in the first pattern above, thus the 2nd pattern. Tape together any pieces your printer decided to put on a separate page. Join the arm to the body at the dotted line. (Note: If your printer cuts off the right hand, it is exactly the same as the left hand only backwards).

Cut the snowman and his hands out of wood – 1/4″ wood if possible for the hands. You will need to tape pattern pieces A and B together where indicated. Base coat with Light Ivory paint, then transfer the hat and face pattern lines to the wood. Paint snowman hat with Black and Maroon. Paint the hands black. Spackle (using old toothbrush) with watered down Light Ivory paint (including the hands). When dry, rub a little stain lightly on all surfaces.

FACE:

Paint snowman’s nose Tangerine. Using a toothpick or stylus (or even the handle end of a paintbrush) and black paint, make 2 dots for the eyes. Paint his eyebrows and mouth with black. Use a little blush on each cheek.

ASSEMBLY:

Nail or staple the hands onto Snowman (see picture for placement). Tie a knot in the center of a 4″ x 3/4″ piece of material. Bend a 3″ piece of garland in half. Hot glue the knot of the material onto garland at the bend. Glue a button on the knot of the material. Hot glue this garland bow to his hat brim. Using another material, make a bow about 5″ across and hot glue it under his mouth.
