  1. Awesome hat! Might be a little bit hard to wear in public, though. But I’ll bet I have to make one or it will drive me nuts.

  2. AWESOME-NESS! !

  3. I made this today as a beginner and was surprised I was able to do it. Turned out great and now everyone wants one. Thanks so much for sharing this pattern!

  4. That is so funny im going to do that for my little brother

  5. genius!!!

  6. That is funny, you should do it with a fuzzy yarn.

  7. Has anyone actually tried to make this? I have and it doesn’t quite work out for me. I followed the instructions, however, using the number of stiches described in row 16 where the beard begins it isn’t long enough to go across the face. I can’t quite figure out how to make it work. Yes, I am new to crocheting. I would love to make this. Any helpful hints/suggestions?

  8. THIS. IS . AWESOME.

Once I get better at crocheting and learn to do more than just single crochet (I only picked this up two days ago!), I will most definitely have to make this hat for one of my friends. It’s pretty much the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Good for you 😀

  9. That is great! Haha! I have to make one for my kids. I think I will put ears on it too.

  10. That’s hilarious! I am going to have to make one for me and my son. We will match my hus band! hahaha!
