Beaded Halloween Skeleton

Halloween is such a fun theme when it comes to crafting. This bead tutorial shows you how to make a skeleton

What you need

White seed beads
Black seed beads
24-gauge wire or beading thread and two needles
Scissors or wire cutters

Instructions

This beaded halloween project shows you how to create a beaded Halloween skeleton perfrect for Halloween decorations.

Thread the needles with one yard of beading thread or cut one yard of 24-gauge wire.

 

Thread one black seed bead onto the center of the length of wire.

 

Thread three white seed beads on to the right end of the wire and thread the left end of the wire through the opposite way. Pull the ends so the first black bead is above the white seed beads to make the next row.

 

Thread four white seed beads onto the right end of the wire and bring the left end through the opposite way. Pull the ends and line the beads under the previous row.

 

Thread on the right end one white, one black, one white, one black and one white bead. Bring the left end of the wire through the opposite way and pull tight.

 

Thread onto the right end one white, one black and one white bead. Bring the left end of the wire back through the same as in previous steps.

 

Thread two white beads onto the right end and bring the left end through the opposite way.

 

Thread nine white beads onto the right end and then thread three white beads on. Bring the right end back through the last four of the ten beads, skip one and bring the wire through the first five of the ten beads. The three beads at the end will turn to make the hands. Repeat for the left end of the wire.

 

Thread on the right end four white beads. Bring the left end back through the same as before.

 

Thread on the right end two black, one white and two black beads. Bring the left end through as before.

 

Thread on five white beads and bring the left end through as before.

 

Thread on one black, one white and one black bead. Bring the left end through as before.

 

Thread on one white bead and bring the left end through as before.

 

Thread on one white bead and bring the left through as before.

Thread on four white beads and bring the left end through as before.

 

Thread on three white beads and bring the left end through as before.

 

Thread on the right end of the wire nine white beads and pull them tight against the beadwork. Thread on three more white beads and bring the end of the wire back through the last four of the nine beads, skip one bead, and bring the wire back through the last five beads. Repeat on the left end for the other leg.

 

Run each end of the wire back through the beadwork to secure and clip with wire cutters or scissors.
