Sushi Crochet Pattern

This free Crochet Amigurumi pattern shows you how to make pretend play sushi.

Instructions

SUSHI PLATE

Using blue, purple or magenta yarn, ch 4, sl st into the first ch to create a ring,

Rnd 1: Ch 1, 6 sc into the ring, sl st into the first sc. (6)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each of sc around, sl st into the first sc. (12)

Rnd 3: Ch 1, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc] repeat 6 times, sl st into the first sc. (18)

Rnd 4: Ch 1, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc] repeat 6 times, sl st into the first sc. (24)

Rnd 5: Ch 1, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc] repeat 6 times, sl st into the first sc. (30)

Rnd 6: Ch 1, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc] repeat 6 times, sl st into the first sc. (36)

Rnd 7: Ch 1, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc] repeat 6 times, sl st into the first sc. (42)

SUSHI RICE

Using white yarn, ch 5,

Rnd 1: Sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in next 2 ch, 3 sc in next sc, working on the back of the loop, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sl st into the first sc. (10)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc, [2 sc in next sc] repeat 3 times, sc in next 2 sc, [2 sc in next sc] repeat twice, sl st into the first sc. (16)

Rnd 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc] repeat 3 times, sc in next 2 sc, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next] repeat 2 times, sl st into the first sc. (22)

Rnd 4-12: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st into the first sc. (22)

Rnd 13: Ch 1, decrease, sc in next 3 sc, [decrease, sc in next sc] repeat 3 times, sc in next 2 sc, [decrease, sc in next sc] repeat 2 times, sl st into the first sc. (16)

Rnd 14: Ch 1, decrease, sc in next 2 sc, decrease 3 times, sc in next 2 sc, decrease twice, sl st into the first sc. (10)

Rnd 15: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st into the first sc. (10)

Leave a long tail to sew and finish off. Stuff with fiberfill and sew the opening. Use the same pattern for all the sushi rice.

SUSHI TOPPING

Using orange / yellow / red yarn, ch 9, Rnd 1: Sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in next 6 sc, 3 sc in next sc, working on the back of the ch, sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sl st into the first sc. (18)

Rnd 2-15: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st into the first sc. (18)

Leave a long tail to sew and finish off. Do not stuff and sew the opening.

Use the same pattern for tuna sushi, salmon sushi and egg sushi. Sew stripes using white yarn for salmon sushi.

Egg Sushi Belt

Using green yarn, ch 35, sl st into the first ch to create a ring,

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st into the first sc. (35) Finish Off.

Slip on the belt on egg sushi.
