Looking for a herbal shampoo? Check out our DIY recipe for making your own natural herbal shampoo with basic supplies. We also have a herbal conditioner recipe too.  Home-made shampoos and conditioners are a great way to strip back to basics and control what herbs you are putting into your hair shampoo and products. Store-bought herbal shampoo contains lots of numbers and ingredients that as the consumer we know very little about.

Comments

  1. Make sure you strain the conditioner to remove the banana fibres before putting it on your hair! I have waist-length wavy hair and the first time I tried a banana conditioner, it took me three days and three washings to get out all the bits of banana!
It is great for your hair though!

  2. Banannaise did not work for me. The banana was a task to get out, & I used a hand mixer. I’d leave it out next time & just do a mayo/olive oil combo instead.

  3. Very good, make sure the mixture has no clumps of banana left before it goes in your hair, if not you will have a very hard time getting it out!

  4. Interesting but I think I will eat the banana, put the mayo on a sandwich and us Nioxin Hair Mask on my hair.

  5. sabraerin says

i like bananas but not on my hair, i will try it

  6. very cool i want to try this!!!

  7. My little Girl LOVES this monkey mask, she thinks it is fun but it really helps detangling.
