I knit tiny beaded purses, so this is a great idea, pattern is clear to me. I’m starting some now for 2018 gifts. If you want more patterns, just take flat x stitch pattern that will fit in the # of stitches! You could also use the knitted balls book by, Arne & Carlos. Haven’t tried it yet but don’t see to much problems trying it.

  2. Thank you for this great idea of beading and knitting on styrofoam balls. I use fabric, pins, sequins and beads in a quilting design to cover the balls.

  3. The “Slip bead” part of the instructions needs clarification for those of us who have never beaded before. Otherwise seems like a good pattern – I’d like to try it if I found out what “slip bead” means.

  4. love this idea

  9. one hank is roughly about 10 grams of seed beads…make sure to pass all beads onto yarn before beginning…great instructions when followed step-bystep…very quick and satisfying project!

  10. these are really cool for the christmas tree
    🙂

  11. Would like to see more enlarged pics with detail, if possible with all craft projects. This looks neat, but I can’t really see it. Sometimes if I get stuck on a project, I like to refer to a picture for reference.

  16. For those of us who buy our beads by weight how many grams does it take?

  17. Simple but effective.

  18. You thread the beads onto the yarn before you start…then just bring one up and knit it in as needed.

  19. great for beaders who want to knit or knitters who want to bead
