Make up

Set out your pieces, you should have 2 body pieces, 2 legs, 2 arms, 2 feet, 2 ears, 1 base, 1 muzzle

Body– Sew both pieces of the body together leaving a gap at the top and bottom. Fill with wadding/filling. Stitch the body base into place.

Sew up the legs leaving the top and bottom open and firmly fill, set aside.

Sew up the feet so the cast on stitches are at the back. Fill with wadding/filling and stitch the cast on edge closed.

Stitch the legs to the feet, the legs sit on top of the foot with the same at the back. Check your picture for direction. Stitch the legs to the body with the toe on the inside.

Stitch the arms, the light color is the hands, leave an opening at the top for filling, Fill. Sew the arms to the body the narrow part up near the neck. Check the picture for placement.

Head – Sew the sides together and gather and draw up the cast on and cast off stitches. Fill the head firmly. The cast on and off edge will fall where the ears should be. The seam you have closed should sit behind the muzzle. Check the picture for guidance. Gather around the muzzle, fill with wadding, draw up and secure with stitches.

Once the muzzle is in place you can position the eyes, make them with light brown and make a chain stitch. Then do a second one inside the first chain. Chance to dark brown or black and make a third chain stitch inside the previous ones to create eyes.

Ears, with one of your threads run a small stitch around the ear and draw it up. Stitch into place as shown in picture.
