Branding your small home business is a great way to stand out and be remembered and hopefully bring in new and returning customers. One easy way of branding is by using custom rubber stamps. Using a similar logo and font will help co-ordinate your look as well as using the same color combinations throughout. Three styles of stamps are all you really need, one for business cards, one for address labels and one for packaging labels, each can be used in a variety of different ways. Be sure to include important information such as: business name, shopping website, blog (or other social media) links, address, phone number, e-mail and short description of what you do.

Packaging Ideas:

-Clear Envelope: Using colored ink stamp the round logo stamp onto white sticker paper and punch out using a round paper punch. Tip: turn the stamp over so you can easily see to line up the stamped image inside the opening. Place merchandise inside a clear plastic envelope, fold the top over and seal with the stamped label.

-Large Box: Using permanent black ink stamp business card stamp onto clear label sticker paper. Tip: for slick or non-porous surfaces permanent ink like “Staz-On” brand work best. Punch or die cut an oval shape and adhere to the front of a plain box. Wrap ribbon around the box and tie in a bow.

-Small Box: Stamp round logo stamp onto white sticker paper and punch with round paper punch. Die cut or punch a slightly larger circle and then a slightly larger scalloped circle from coordinating cardstocks. Adhere all circles on top of one another. Wrap ribbon around box and adhere label over top.

Large Price Hang Tags:

-Oval Tag: From pattern paper punch or die cut a large oval and a slightly larger scalloped oval from cardstock, adhere together. Stamp business card stamp in the center. Punch a small circle from cardstock and adhere to top of tag, punch a slightly smaller hole punch in the middle to make a “grommet”. Run ribbon through the hole. Write price with an ink pen.

-Letter Tag: From pattern paper punch or die cut a large letter and a slightly larger letter from cardstock, adhere together. Stamp round logo stamp onto cardstock and punch with a circle punch, adhere to letter. Punch a small circle from cardstock and adhere to top of tag, punch a slightly smaller hole punch in the middle to make a “grommet”. Run ribbon through the hole. Write price with an ink pen.

Business Cards:

-Simple Card: Trim cardstock to 3 ½”x 2” and using clear pigment ink stamp business card stamp, pour on glitter embossing powder and heat with a heat tool.

-Printed Card: Using your computer print an image of your art or merchandise and stamp business card stamp over top, trim to 3 ¼”x 1 ¾”. Adhere to 3 ½” x 2” cardstock.

-Punched Card: Trim cardstock to trim to 3 ¼”x 1 ¾”, stamp business card stamp in the middle and punch out shapes with a paper punch, Adhere to 3 ½” x 2” cardstock. Adhere rhinestones over punches.

Address Labels:

-Return Labels: Use different colors of stamping ink pads stamp return address label stamp onto office store label stickers.

-Envelope: Stamp return address label onto back flap of a plain envelope. Using permanent ink stamp round logo stamp onto silver sticker paper, punch out with circle punch and adhere over envelope flap.
